Explore the 50th Anniversary Subaru Lineup With Our NJ Dealership

Back in January, our NJ dealership took a look at everything we knew about the 50th anniversary Subaru lineup. Now, these limited edition models have finally been unveiled and we’ve got to say: they were worth the hype!

50th anniversary Subaru special edition vehicles

Celebrating 50 years of Subaru here in the United States, these special edition vehicles are truly unlike anything else you’re likely to see from Subaru in your lifetime. If you’re eager to get a piece of Subaru history for yourself, then this is the chance to get behind the wheel of something special.

Standing Out in a Crowd

When Subaru unveiled these anniversary edition models at the Chicago Auto Show and gave the world it’s first look, the team at our Subaru showroom in NJ was understandable excited. After having read about them in Subaru’s press releases leading up to the event, we were understandably thrilled to get our first glimpse of them!

Each of the special edition 50th anniversary models is based around a high-level trim of its respective model, so you can bet these vehicles will provide plenty of attractive features and exceptional interior craftsmanship. What you’ll notice even before that, though, is an exclusive new exterior color: Heritage Blue. The exterior will also feature exclusive 50th Anniversary badging, as will the cabin.

As if this one-of-a-kind styling wasn’t already alluring enough, these models will also be highly limited in their production. The Crosstrek, Forester, Impreza, Legacy, and Outback anniversary editions will be limited to 1,050 units each; the anniversary editions of the WRX, STI, and BRZ will be limited to 1,050 units total.

If you’ve been considering sliding into a new Subaru, then this is the perfect opportunity to do so while claiming your piece of the brand’s history! Randolph Area Subaru Service Center Helps Drivers Keep Sensors Clear

As cars continue to get smarter, we rely more and more on their advanced features to help keep us in control and out of harm’s way. Many of these features rely on camera or radar sensors, though, which can be affected negatively by snow, ice, or leftover salt after driving on winter roads.

At our Subaru parts department near Madison, we have an intimate understanding of these components. Fortunately, that also means that we can share some knowledge with you to help you keep those sensors clear.

Subaru EyeSight sensors

Subaru Eyesight technology is mounted to the top interior of your windshield, where it’s out of your line of sight. This also means it’s a part of the windshield that many drivers forget to clear; simply be sure to clean off this part of your windshield before you hit the road. This is Subaru’s way of making it easier to keep these sensors clear

As for other sensors, like a rear view camera that could be mounted outside, you’ll need to pay particular attention to gently clean them off. Be sure to pay special attention to the front grille, both bumpers, and the rear license plate area when removing snow and ice.

Maintaining Performance Sensors

While these active safety sensors are ones that you likely interact with regularly, there are others that you might take for granted. As we roll into spring, it’s important to stay on top of maintenance at our Subaru service center near Madison to ensure these are kept clean and functional, as well.

Your ABS sensors, for instance, are located in the wheel wells. While they’re generally protected against outside contaminants, built up snow and salt can get into the workings and cause problems. By having your brakes properly maintained, you’ll make sure that this crucial sensor does its job.

To ensure that all your vehicle’s components, inside and out, are kept running smoothly, simply schedule a service appointment at Subaru of Morristown! Be sure to contact us by calling (866) 910-3466 today.
